ReqBox for teams: plans, smarter scripts and fewer surprises
The last few weeks were about one thing: making ReqBox feel right for a whole team, not just one person with one workspace. Here’s the short version of what that means for you.
Pro is here
Free is still free, and it’s enough to try ReqBox with your team. When you need more room, Pro gives you more workspaces, and more members, and you pay from the app: pick Monthly or Yearly and scan the Mercado Pago QR. Pro belongs to a team, not to a person: a user can be in as many Pro teams as they like, plus one Free team.
Advanced roles, SSO and audit logs are the next things on the Pro list, and they’re clearly marked as coming soon until they ship. We’d rather say so than sell you a promise.
Going back to Free never costs you your work
If your team drops to a smaller plan, nothing is deleted. Extra workspaces become read-only: you can still open them, run requests and export everything, and you choose which ones stay active. Upgrade again and they unlock exactly as you left them.
Scripts that know where they are
Variables in ReqBox already work at every level: workspace, collection, folder and environment, and the closest one wins. Scripts now follow the same rules:
- Read and write folder variables from a script, next to the environment and collection ones you already had.
- Use
{{variable}}right inside your script text and it resolves with the same visibility as the request, safely escaped so a value with quotes can’t break your code.
Set a token once at the right level and every script under it just picks it up.
Small things that add up
- Close a request without saving and it stays unsaved. When you open it again, it’s how you last saved it, not a half-edited ghost of your last session.
- Errors now say what happened and what to do next, instead of showing you a status code.
- The list of active workspaces is a compact picker that actually looks like the rest of the app.
Everything is still encrypted on your device before it reaches us, whichever plan you’re on (see Encrypted by default). If something here is missing for your team, tell us, because that’s how the list gets shorter.
